Adam and Taylor are absolute gems and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for their Elm Estate Destination Wedding. They met when they were in 8th grade and have been together for ten years. They said that they both knew in their own way that they were going to be together forever. How sweet is that!! They are both originally from California but have recently moved to Arizona.

Their wedding took place in Reno, Nevada at The Elm Estate. A historic 1880’s farmhouse that was renovated into a captivating backdrop. From the luscious green grass to the original white brick to the twinkle lights inside, this venue displayed an unexpected elegance. We were so excited to be able to travel to Reno for their wedding! This venue is absolutely stunning inside as well as outside.

The attention to detail for this summer wedding took our breath away1 The dusty rose and ivory tones paired with eucalyptus made for the most dreamy vibes. Their vision was brought to life by the love and joy that radiates from them both.

Adam and Taylor both had mentioned that they just want a laid-back wedding and to just have as much fun as possible! We feel like this was a very true statement because of how well their day went. Their coordinator Amber with My Wedding Friend did a wonderful job of ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish!

We started their day with getting ready photo inside the Elm Estate house. The interior of this house is spacious and perfect for a bride and her wedding party to get ready in! There were so many windows letting in natural light and a separate room for the bride to get dressed in! Taylor and her dad had a first look together which is always so special. The love they share is something that is undeniable!

For Adam, he got ready in their garage-converted groom suite which had a very masculine vibe. The garage door had a reflective finish of one-way privacy window film so no one could see in through the outside. This allowed for a lot of natural light to come into the space with still having privacy for the groom and his wedding party. It also had a sitting area with couches and a full-size pool table! We absolutely loved this space and how the Elm Estate designed it!

Their ceremony took place outside the Elm Estate house, which was a perfect shaded backdrop for their summer ceremony! While it was a warm day, the wind carried a cool breeze that made everyone more comfortable!

Adam and Taylor to wrote their own vows which is something we encourage all couples to do. They shared their personal vows during their ceremony! The chance to share what’s on your heart around the ones who love you most is something we will forever adore!

Adam and Taylor had the best reception with their family and friends. A custom cookie was placed at each place setting and added such a cute touch to the table. Their DJ, Jerod, kept the party going all night and did an amazing job providing a personalized experience for this sweet couple! The night was filled with so much laughter, dancing and pure joy.

During their reception, we snuck out to get sunset portraits of the newlyweds. We are so glad we did! Since everyone was inside enjoying the reception, they were able to have more intimate portraits together without interruptions or guests. We loved being able to document Adam and Taylor! They totally rocked their session and took in every moment.

To end the night, they did a glow stick grand exit and this is an awesome alternative to sparklers! Tears filled our eyes to know much love Adam and Taylor share. We feel so touched to have been a part of their Elm Estate Destination Wedding!
