Sedona Arizona Destination Elopement

Kevin and Mikenna are the absolute sweetest people and we love that we were able to capture their Sedona Arizona destination elopement for them. They are both born and raised in Colorado and met a little over 9 years ago while working together. Mikenna instantly had a thing for Kevin. While life had some unexpected events take place it only brought these two closer together.

Their Intimate Boho Wedding Day

They started their day by getting ready at a spacious AirBnb in Cottonwood, Arizona. The amazing thing about Cottonwood is that it’s a short drive to Sedona and offers a lot more amenities and accommodations than Sedona does.

When we arrived to document the getting ready portion of their day, we were greeted by their family and friends with a heartwarming welcome! Everyone seemed so laid back and having the best time!

Mikenna chose to do a first look with her dad which was so heartwarming. He presented Mikenna with a sentimental bracelet of her mother’s for her to wear. It was a precious moment between Mikenna and her dad! We loved being able to document this for them! Next Mikenna headed to her first look with Kevin. Kevin anxiously waited to see his beautiful bride. As he turned around, tears filled his eyes and he stood there in complete awe. A moment in time they will never forget.

We then traveled to Sedona for their ceremony that took place in the beautiful red rocks. The openness of the space allowed for their wild and free vision to come to life. The ceremony space was secluded and overlooked the serene Sedona landscape. This made for the most intimate ceremony surrounded by those who love them most.

After the ceremony and family/bridal party photos, we went to Crescent Moon Ranch for their reception. They reserved a ramada at the picnic site and had an amazing evening of being with their people.

Our Favorite Part

Our favorite part of their day was their sunset portraits where they got to be wild and free. They were so lost in each other’s eyes they almost forgot we were even there. Their love for one another is so evident it was easy to photograph. We are so blessed we were able to be a part of their special day!
