Cory and Kellie came to us to capture their 15th Anniversary Lost Dutchman Vow Renewal Ceremony through photo and film!

Kellie is sisters with our website designer, Erika (The Sparrow Design Co) and she found us when her sister posted about our website she was working on! How amazing is that?!

When I asked Kellie to tell us about her and her husband Cory, this is what she said, “We met at an 8 AM speech class in Lincoln, IL our freshman year of college. We both played sports, loved Jesus and just connected and the rest is history. After we got married, we moved back to my husband’s hometown, Paris, IL, and have been here ever since. We have two amazing and beautiful kids and a Golden Doodle named Scout. We love traveling, spending time out at our land and just being together. We’re pretty smitten. We’ve been through tremendous hurdles as a couple. Like most, I assume. This season of life is the sweet spot though. He’s truly my best friend, and I can’t imagine doing this life with anyone else.”

These two wanted to spend their 15th anniversary in Phoenix and have their photos taken along with a video of their Lost Dutchman vow renewal. We had a beautiful time exploring the desert together and getting to know Cory and Kellie. They are the kindest souls, and we’re so happy they chose us to document this sweet time in their lives! Kellie put so much thought into their attire and details, it truly tied together their entire session to make it feel so dreamy! She wanted a warm, golden hour glow feel to their photos, and I feel we achieved that for sure!!

Their video gives us all the feels. As a married couple ourselves, they reminded us through their vows to show each other grace and no matter what life throws at us, that we will always have each other.

We also wanted to feature Cory and Kellie’s AirBnB, as well as the picnic they had set up for their anniversary! Seriously, what a dream!! Kellie took and edited the photos of their AirBnB. We wish we could live there – it’s so gorgeous! We have worked with Desert Peach before and their setup does not disappoint!! This was such a special setup for Cory and Kellie to celebrate their love.
