Josh and Emilierose are the sweetest, kindest souls on the planet! I had so much fun with them at their Lost Dutchman Engagement session walking through the desert and taking their photos.
The weather was super crazy that weekend! Our session was on a Sunday and it had been raining for 2 1/2 days straight! It was the most rain Arizona had than all of 2020. Craziness! So, after checking in with them about the weather, we decided to move forward with the session even if it was going to rain.
We started our session a little earlier than I normally do (so that it wouldn’t get too cloudy/dark closer to sunset) and there were clouds hovering over the mountain which was SO cool! I had never seen clouds like that at this location and it was surreal. Luckily the weather and clouds were clearing up and the weather was perfect (minus the heat of course)!
After changing into their second outfit, the clouds had fully cleared and we got a full view of Lost Dutchman! I took them off the trail at the end of their session for some poses and really just to embrace and enjoy this spot. It was so quiet and serene – you could lay on the ground and just fall asleep. That’s how relaxing it was there!
These two embraced the weather and totally rocked their engagement session! Emilierose always had the biggest smile when she would look at Josh and you can tell he adores her. Can’t wait for their wedding day!
If you’re looking for someone to tell your story AND be your dream 3rd and 4rth wheels… we’re your people! We’re passionate about capturing your engagement session – authentically!
